iVent

It's a tradition in the RSPB Web Team to have an advent calendar every December. However, because advent calendars provide only one chocolate per day, it was crucial to come up with a fair way to determine which team member got it. For 2010, I created iVent - a spoof iPhone web app using Zepto.js, SVG, and both CSS animations and transitions.

The app allows the user to choose the number of advent calendars available and indicate which people are not in the office. Then it sends a text (using the txtlocal.co.uk service) to the lucky winners. Texting is disabled in the lab version.
